The goal of the Tactical Missile Structures and Subsystems business area is to provide high quality composite design, analysis, assembly, fabrication and testing to tactical missile systems. Through a proven process of systems engineering, product engineering, cost control, and comprehensive testing, SDC can provide the customer with product support for a small R&D job to a full system design and production. SDC has proven to its customers that it can provide the highest quality of design and analysis support for missile structures, such as dynamic response, drop loading, detailed composite analysis, and design for manufacturing and assembly. SDC's unique understanding of advanced materials allows us to integrate composites into current metallic systems for weight reduction, increased performance and cost reduction. The major product areas that we support are missile containment systems and internal and external missile structures.
