With the move to a larger (10,000 sq. ft.) facility in 2007, San Diego Composites greatly increased the size of its manufacturing areas and clean room. While SDC continues to execute on its development and SBIR programs, we have started to turn our focus on creating a complete manufacturing and production capability to serve our Space Structures and Optics customers. SDC is making the necessary investments to ensure that we can take on low and medium quantity programs. ISO certification (Q4 2007) and a medium sized autoclave (Q4 2007) exemplify this commitment and will allow SDC to operate in a production mode with quality and efficiency.
