SDC Receives 2011 CAPE Challenge Award

San Diego, CA, May 17, 2012 - SDC was selected for the 2011 California Awards for Performance Excellence (CAPE) Challenge Award.

The CAPE Challenge Award is given by the California Council for Excellence (CCE) and honors manufacturing companies, service companies, educational institutions, government agencies, healthcare, non-profit, and military organizations for their performance in leadership, strategic planning, customer focus, measurement, analysis, and knowledge management, workforce focus, operations focus, and results. The CAPE program is California's equivalent to the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award and recipients are held to the same criteria.

SDC was honored to participate in CCE's 18th Annual Best Practices and Awards Conference award ceremony at Disney's Paradise Pier in Anaheim, CA on May 2, 2012.
